WHAT IS A TESSELLATION?
A Tessellation of a flat surface is the tiling of a plane using one or more geometric shapes, called tiles, with no overlaps and no gaps.
WHERE ARE THE TESSELLATIONS?
Are many tessellations in nature, food, in the city and in the sports.
I saw this tessellations (I didn´t find in nature, food or sports; only for city :C) :
NATURE
In this image the tessellation is turning and is repeating and is very dizzy o.O!
The tessellations can repeat in the flowers, in the animals and in many things that are fonded in the nature (honey combs) :D!
FOOD
In this image the tessellation is turning but isn't repeating.There are triangles over a circle.
The tessellations can repeat in all type of food; fruits, vegetables, sweets (i don´t know any sweet :/ )
CITY
In this image, the tessellation is slipping and isn't repeating.There are squares one next to each another forming a platform.
The tessellations can repeat in all type of things made by the human like floors, ceilings, etc...
SPORTS
In this image is doing the same as in the image of up.There are lines forming squares without spaces between the lines :O!
The tessellations can form in all type of objects of sports like football balls, golf balls, basketball nets,tennis nets, etc...
And now we saw that in ALL THE WORLD are tessellations, so, if you see a tessellation, don't surprise!
